Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead all aspects of resort operations, ensuring strong financial performance, operational excellence, and exceptional guest experiences. The role involves full responsibility for the hotel’s performance, including managing the P&L, driving profitability, and working closely with revenue teams to optimise pricing and business strategy. The successful candidate will oversee all departments, ensuring adherence to international standards, maintaining the physical asset, and delivering consistent service quality. A key part of the role is leading and developing the team, fostering a positive work culture, and building strong relationships with owners, stakeholders, and external partners.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field, with 10–15 years of experience in hotel operations, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role such as General Manager or Resident Manager within a 4–5 star environment. They should have a strong background in financial management, including P&L, budgeting, and CAPEX planning, along with a solid understanding of revenue management strategies. Extensive operational knowledge across all hotel departments is essential, with experience in pre-openings or major renovations considered an advantage. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop teams, manage performance, and drive results. A high level of emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and business partners is essential.
