Job Description
We are looking for an Island Transfer Manager to oversee the daily operation of guest and staff transportation between the mainland and the island while ensuring safe, efficient, and seamless transfer services. The role includes managing boat transfer schedules, supervising transfer staff and boat crews, coordinating guest arrivals and departures with Front Office, Concierge, and Reservations, handling guest enquiries and operational issues, monitoring transfer costs, ensuring boats and equipment are properly maintained, and delivering exceptional service standards.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or transfer operations, preferably within a resort, island, or hospitality environment. Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills are essential. A good command of spoken and written English is required. Knowledge of marine safety procedures and boat operations is an advantage. The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, along with a strong commitment to guest service and operational excellence, is essential.
