Job Description
W Koh Samui is seeking a General Manager to serve as the strategic business leader of the property, overseeing all aspects of hotel operations including guest and employee satisfaction, financial performance, sales and marketing, human resources, and revenue generation. The role is responsible for driving profitability, market share, and owner returns while ensuring alignment with Marriott brand standards and business objectives. The successful candidate will lead business strategy development and execution, build strong owner and community relationships, support sales and marketing initiatives, and create a high-performing leadership culture focused on operational excellence and innovation.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have previous General Manager experience within Asia Pacific, particularly in Southeast Asia, with strong lifestyle brand and resort experience preferred. Candidates should possess either a 2-year degree with at least 8 years of management experience, or a 4-year bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of experience in hotel operations, sales and marketing, finance, or related professional areas. Strong leadership, commercial acumen, strategic planning, team development, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
