Job Description
We are looking for a Duty Engineer to oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the hotel's engineering systems while ensuring all facilities, equipment, and utilities are operating safely and efficiently. The role includes responding to maintenance requests, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, supervising engineering technicians when required, coordinating repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting the smooth operation of all hotel facilities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in hotel engineering, facilities maintenance, or a similar technical role, preferably within a hotel or resort. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems is required. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills are essential. The ability to work independently, respond effectively to emergencies, and work flexible shifts is required. Good English communication skills are an advantage.
