Job Description
Lead the hotel’s Engineering department and oversee all maintenance, technical operations and building systems to ensure the property operates safely, efficiently and reliably. Manage preventive maintenance programmes, utilities, energy consumption, equipment, capital projects and emergency repairs while coordinating closely with all operational departments. Lead and develop the Engineering team while managing departmental budgets, contractors and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Director of Engineering, Chief Engineer or senior Engineering leader within a hotel or resort is required. Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, building management systems and preventive maintenance is essential. Strong leadership, budgeting, project management and problem-solving skills are required, together with good knowledge of safety regulations, energy management and engineering compliance.
