Job Description
We are looking for a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering department and ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of all hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems. The role includes overseeing preventive maintenance programs, managing engineering projects and departmental budgets, supervising and developing the engineering team, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, coordinating repairs and renovations, optimizing energy efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and guest comfort.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer within a hotel or resort. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills are essential. Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire and life safety systems, and building management systems is required. Experience in preventive maintenance, project management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance is essential. Good communication, organisational, and team management skills are required, along with good English communication skills.
