Job Description
We are looking for a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering department and ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of all hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems. The role includes overseeing preventive maintenance programs, managing engineering projects and budgets, supervising the engineering team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating repairs, and maintaining the highest standards of operational efficiency and guest comfort.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in hotel engineering or facilities management, preferably in a Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer role. Strong leadership, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building management systems is required. Knowledge of preventive maintenance, energy management, and health and safety regulations is highly desirable. Good communication, organisational, and team management skills are essential.
